Manchester Beats Cancer
Twelves' chosen charity:

My mum died of cancer when I was ten and many other loved ones have been affected but sadly this is not an uncommon story anymore, cancer affects nearly all of us either directly or indirectly.
I have decided to support 'Manchester Beats Cancer' which is an amazing regional initiative, set up by a co-operative of long-standing fundraisers and passionate individuals, most of whom have been directly impacted by cancer who firmly believe they can shift the dial.

Their aim is to bring the Greater Manchester community together, as only it knows how, across business, social, sporting and educational landscapes to create a cancer-fighting, charitable, accessible movement to be proud of, in order to provide the investment in our future.
​
I wanted to bring their mantra, about beating cancer together, into my project by inviting as many people to join me so together we can push each other out of our comfort zones, increase awareness and raise money.
